Meet The Instructor
Colin Parent
I have always had a passion for driving, whether it be racing, 4x4, motorcycles, or hauling 140,000lbs down the road in a fully loaded tractor trailer. I enjoy it all. I have even went as far as flying planes, and plan on being fully licensed as a pilot in the next couple years. I find great pleasure in passing my experience and knowledge on to you, in hopes you become the best driver you can be.

Toyota Tacoma
2023 Toyota Tacoma is considered to be a mid-sized vehicle (similar to an SUV). We find using this type of vehicle is not only the most safe, but also gives you the confidence and ability to be able to operate a small car, or big truck.
We always make sure our vehicles are well-maintained, ensuring your safety and comfort during your driving lessons. They are also equipped with dual controls, allowing your instructor to take control of the vehicle if necessary.

It is highly recommended that you book at least 1 week apart to allow for a minimum of 15 hours total seat time of practice in between driving lessons.
NOTE: Lessons with Wheel Good Driving School Ltd DO NOT guarantee a pass on the ICBC road test. Test results are strictly based off of driver performance on test day.
We understand that everyone has different schedules and commitments. Because of this, we offer training 7 days bi-weekly; and the freedom to book your own dates and times right at your finger tips. It is highly recommended that you book at least 1 week apart to allow for a minimum of 15 hours total seat time of practice in between driving lessons.
**Please be considerate of the driving instructor’s scheduled time, it is valuable just like any other profession.**
Need to cancel? No problem! You have up until 48 hours of your lesson to reschedule.
Anything past 48 hours is non refundable. Reason being, it is very difficult to fill that spot last minute.
If you need to cancel a road test, please give ICBC 72 hours notice so you can have enough time to avoid ICBC’s 48-hour cancellation deadline. Otherwise, ICBC may charge you a $25 cancellation fee.
From October to April we run studded winter tires which maximize traction in the snow, and on ice. The vehicle is also equipped with traction control, ABS, and 4 wheel drive, which allows us to maintain control in the worst of conditions.
Is there 1 foot of snow on the road? Are the roads covered in black ice? Sounds like a great day to learn how to drive with a professional by your side!

Use of the Wheel Good training vehicle for the ICBC road test is available only with instructor approval and the full lesson package being completed. If the student has provided significant notice (4 weeks minimum) to the instructor of the road test date and time, then Wheel Good will attempt to make the training vehicle available for the road test.
Road tests must be in Cranbrook, BC for use of the instruction vehicle.
It is recommended that students test in the vehicle they have had the most practice in.
**Use of the Wheel Good training vehicle for ICBC road test is only available for those who have purchased a Wheel Good Package**
