With almost 2 decades in the transportation industry, Wheel Good Driving School provides training built on knowledge, patience, and proven teaching methods.
We go beyond preparing you for a road test. We develop strong driving habits, decision-making, and skills that last a lifetime.

Our Services
Geared towards individuals who are wanting to properly operate most passenger vehicles such as, cars, vans, small trucks, and motorhomes. Whether you need to brush up on your knowledge and skills, or are a complete beginner preparing for the ICBC road test, we can help.
Designed for drivers who are looking to be qualified for jobs such as shuttle bus, limousine, taxi, uber, and ambulance. Training includes practical road experience, commercial pre-trip inspections, and focused preparation for the ICBC Class 4 road test.
One-on-one Code 7 and Code 20 training to help you legally tow trailers over 4,600 kg in BC. Using your own vehicle and trailer, we focus on inspections, safe towing techniques, and ICBC road test preparation so you’re confident and compliant.

As a former owner of a trucking company, I have driven over 2.5 million kilometres commercially and have learned that great drivers are not created overnight. They are built through proper instruction, experience, and a commitment to developing strong driving habits. Driving is more than learning the rules of the road. My goal at Wheel Good Driving School is not only to teach students what to do, but why we do it. Understanding the reason behind each decision builds awareness, strengthens judgment, and helps students develop the skills needed for a lifetime of confident driving.

2023 Toyota Tacoma is considered to be a mid-sized vehicle (similar to an SUV). We find using this type of vehicle is not only the most safe, but also gives you the confidence and ability to be able to operate a small car, or big truck. We are adamant that our vehicle is well-maintained, ensuring your safety and comfort during your driving lessons. Our training vehicle has also been equipped with dual controls, allowing your instructor to take control of the vehicle at any time, if necessary.

How do I view availability & book?

What can I expect during a driving lesson?
During each lesson, your instructor completes a skill sheet that highlights areas of strength, as well as any areas that may benefit from further improvement.
At the conclusion of the lesson, we conduct a 10-minute debrief to review the skill sheet and discuss any relevant feedback. Following the lesson, a PDF copy of the completed skill sheet will be sent to your email for your reference.
What vehicle will I be driving?
2023 Toyota Tacoma is considered to be a mid-sized vehicle (similar to an SUV). We find using this type of vehicle is not only the most safe, but also gives you the confidence and ability to be able to operate a small car, or big truck.
We always make sure our vehicles are well-maintained, ensuring your safety and comfort during your driving lessons. They are also equipped with dual controls, allowing your instructor to take control of the vehicle if necessary.
Can I use the Wheel Good training vehicle for my road test?
Yes. This is a great option if your vehicle would not pass an inspection, you do not have a vehicle to use, or you just feel most confident driving the Tacoma.
Use of the Wheel Good training vehicle for the ICBC road test is only available with instructor approval. If the student has provided significant notice (4 weeks minimum) to the instructor of the road test date and time, then we will attempt to make the training vehicle available for your road test.
Road tests must be in Cranbrook, BC for use of the instruction vehicle.
It is recommended that students test in the vehicle they have had the most practice in.
Do driving lessons guarantee I will pass my road test?
No. Driving lessons with Wheel Good Driving School are designed to help build your skills, confidence and preparedness, but they do not guarantee a pass on your ICBC road test.
Road test results are determined by your driving performance on the day of your test.
What if there is snow and/or ice on the roads?
Lessons will not be canceled if there is snow and/or ice on the roads because that is the perfect time to learn how to drive in real world conditions with a professional by your side.
From October 1st to April 30th we run directional studded winter tires which maximize traction in the snow, and on ice. The vehicle is also equipped with traction control, stability control, anti-lock braking system (ABS), and 4 wheel drive, which allows us to maintain control in the worst of conditions.
Can I reschedule?
Yes. If you would like to cancel or reschedule your appointment you can do so anytime through your online account. We require a minimum 48 hours prior to lesson start time, otherwise the lesson will be charged in full.
If you reschedule within 48 hours, you will be charged a $50 cancellation fee.
What if I'm running late?
If the student has not shown up within 15 minutes after the scheduled start time, the instructor will deem the lesson forfeit unless we have received an email or voicemail no later than 7:00 AM the morning of stating how late they will be. The instructor does not use the phone or check emails while out of the office.
If a lesson is deemed forfeit, the lesson will be lost and charged in full.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If Wheel Good Driving School receives written notice of withdrawal 7 days prior to start-date, you will receive a full refund minus the 2% surcharge we covered during your purchase.
If you require a refund on a package deal after it has been initiated, you will be charged the 2% surcharge and then $150 + GST per lesson that has been completed. You will receive the remaining balance for the lessons that have not yet been completed. (If you require a refund within the 48 hour deadline of the next lesson, you will be charged a $50 cancellation fee as stated in our Cancellation Policy.)
